I recently had my attention drawn to Storenvy’s email/contact system and decided to test it by sending myself an email through the ‘contact the seller’ page that Storenvy provides for every shop on their system.
It’s worth mentioning that (as far as I was aware) I had never been contacted via this system as a seller before.
As it turns out, the emails that are sent through Storenvy always get filtered out in the junk and don’t make their way to my inbox. Not only that, but the topic/title of the message is always simply ‘Support Request’. This does not immediately alert meto the fact that the message is from Storenvy, or that it may be someone trying to contact me with a query/concern about my products (which I always take very seriously and reply to immediately).
Now that I have tested the system and seen ‘Support Request’ emails from myself, I realise that I have in fact seen emails like this in my junk folder previously, but dismissed them as junk because they flagged the filters so badly.
This means that I have been unintentionally ignoring emails from people trying to contact me about my Storenvy shop for I don’t know how long!!
I feel absolutely mortified about this and I cannot apologize enough to anyone who I have mistakenly ignored!! Please accept my deepest apologies.
If you do have any concerns, please email: prettypollyanna@live.co.uk
As from now, I will recognize these ‘Support Request’ emails as Storenvy-related, but I will also update my store information to reflect the fact that the Storenvy system may not be the best way to contact me(!).
I also intend to inform Storenvy about this to see if they can change the system, or at least notify sellers about the structure/appearance of the emails they are likely to get.
Once again, I am very-very-very sorry :/
